STOCKS _Inventory Tracking System and Warehouse Organization with production enhancement, for a company in the "Electronic components and microelectronics" sector, one of the Key enabling technologies

The Project, also carried out with the support of the Regione Lombardia, pursued several objectives:

  • increase in the production area (more space dedicated to the production and testing of products);
  • strengthening of the production structure (with provision of new equipment for the production and testing of products;
  • optimal use of space for warehouse activities;
  • efficiency of the activities relating to the logistics department (thanks to the installation of two vertical warehouses and related software integrated with the company management system.

Thanks to the implementation of the funded project, the company was able to:

  • achieve greater working ergonomics and efficiency of the production, board testing and logistics departments;
  • optimize production costs and increase margins;
  • perfect inventory control and inventory rotation (raw materials, semi-finished and finished products);
  • increase the accuracy of activities, orders and warehousing.
